Originally formed in early 2011, Miner Light Productions is a collective of artists making narrative films in the Triangle region of North Carolina. With two short films now completed, we are moving towards incorporation and towards the development of feature scripts, while also continuing to work on new shorts and music videos.

Our first short film, a 12-minute hipster western rock opera entitled El Caffinato, was completed in 2011 and awarded the prize for Best Professional Short at the Carrboro Film Festival; it went on to screen at 8 other festivals across the country. Our second short, a 22-minute romantic comedy entitled Written on Your Face was completed in the fall of 2013 and will be on the festival circuit throughout 2014. In addition to these two shorts, the founding members of Miner Light Productions, Liz Levitt-Bradley and Rory Bradley, directed and produced a set of short film block openers for the 2012 Carrboro Film Festival, collectively called Shoot and Submit.
